Dan Gray has pastored in the Tri-Cities area for more than 20 years. He currently serves as the campus pastor for Horizons Worship at Pleasant View Methodist Church.
Gray is passionate about social justice and also works as an immigration lawyer with Global Justice Advocates.
Gray is an adjunct professor at several colleges including King University and Northeast State Community College. He has taught political science courses, philosophy courses, and ethics courses.
Gray spent many years working with youth and young adults through the United Methodist Holston Conference as the Coordinator of Youth Ministries. After spending a few years as a youth pastor with Muncy Memorial United Methodist Church, Gray became a full-time senior pastor at Bluff City United Methodist Church. Over the last 10 years, he also pastored at Chilhowie United Methodist Church and Addilynn Memorial United Methodist Church.
Gray volunteers frequently at his community theatre, Theatre Bristol, both on and off-stage. He has enjoyed spending time with his family through playing iconic roles such as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Cogsworth in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Andrew Carnes in Oklahoma!, and Walter Hobbs in Elf the Musical.
